プレイ環境 / Environment

マット / Mat

プレイする場所に敷いて使います。
YouTubeなどで紹介されていますし、VR専用品も売られています。
が、安く済ませるなら100均のマットでも大丈夫です

Use it by laying it in the place where you play.
It is introduced on YouTube etc., and VR exclusive products are also sold.
But , You can use 1$ mat.

マットを使う事のメリットは、プレイエリアを足裏で把握できる事。
コレは、丸型でも長方形型でも、凸凹の有る物も無い物も共通です。

管理者は、台所マットを使用しています。
長方形で凸凹のある事で、足裏感覚によって、エリアだけでなくリアルで向いている方向もわかる点や、洗濯機で丸洗いできる点が気に入っています。

おしぼり / Wet towel (Oshibori)

このゲームに限りませんが、VRヘッドセットを使っていると汗をかきます。
外したら直ぐふき取れるようにおしぼりを用意しておくと、綺麗な状態を維持できます。
お手入れ全般については、HMDメンテナンスにまとめがあります。

We sweat when using a VR headset.

接点復活剤 / Contact revitalizer

コントローラが不調となった時、改善する事が出来ます。
塗りタイプとスプレータイプが流通していますが、管理人は塗りタイプが好みです。
理由は、目的外箇所への飛散リスクが小さいからです。
“薬剤がプラスチック部品を侵す” 心配が少ないのは、嬉しい所です。
入手は、DIYのお店、電気屋、通販など、様々な所で出来ます。

HMDを無線接続で使う方におすすめです。

特に 6GHz帯(Wi-Fi6E) 対応の VIVE Focus3 / XR Elite / Quest Pro / Quest 3 などをご利用の場合は、その性能をフルに発揮する為に必須装備です。
なお、設置にあたっては、HMDとルータの間に遮蔽物がない様に設置すると電波の減衰が抑えられます。(6GHz帯電波は、遮蔽物の影響を受けやすい)

無線LAN対応のHMDを使う際、通信環境の調整に有用です。

Steam Link [Quest2][Quest3]

Steam接続を無線化するValve公式無料アプリです。
PC用Oculusアプリを経由せず直接Steamへ接続できます。

利用の際は、Steam設定でRemote接続をONにしてください。
初回起動時は、ペアリングを行う必要があります。

よく使うのであれば、固定メニューへ登録すると良いでしょう。

Valve’s official free app that makes your Steam connection wireless.

リアウェイト(モバイルバッテリ) / Rear weight (Mobile battery)

ノーマルストラップでのプレイ時間が延びてくると、ヘッドセットの重さで疲れるようになります。
その時は、携帯用のモバイルバッテリを後頭部に装着するとよいです。
フロントヘヴィーだった荷重バランスがとれて、楽になります。

シリコンノーズカバー for Quest2 / Silicone facial parts for Quest2

没入感が向上する。と書くと上品ですが伝わり難いですね。
日本人顔だと、欧米人より鼻が低いので隙間が出来て風景が見えて萎えるのですが、このパーツをつけると隙間が埋まります。
なお、Amazonの説明には、
「注意：Oculus Quest 2付属のシリコン製接顔パーツとの併用はできません。」
と書かれていますが、管理人は、両方装着して使用しています。
良い感じです。

MOMOVR F2/BOBOVR F2 for Quest2

HMD内を換気でき、曇り止めに効果があります。
また、顔と接触する黒い部分がノーマルから一式交換になるのですが、鼻の隙間が埋まるようになっており、ノーズカバーが不要です。

ほか、ファンの駆動音が多少あります。
ゲーム、環境、好みによっては、気になるでしょう。

以下、管理人が使った感想です。
・顔と接触する黒い部分の感触は、Quest2に付属するシリコンラバーの方が好みです。
・音は、このゲームでは、気になります。
・汗が減るのと曇らないのは、ありがたいです。

Youtuberさん方のレビュー動画を掲載しておきます。

■使い方 / How to use
500mlペットボトルと組み合わせて使います。
ペットボトルに飲み物を入れ、元々のキャップの代わりにこれを装着します。

VR中に水分をとる事が快適になります。
HMDを外さなくても飲めますし、頭を大きく上にあげる必要もないので疲れません。

糖分の多いもの、粘性の高いもの、果肉の入ったもの、ミルク類は、避けた方が良いと思います。
これらはストロー内に残り易く、カビやニオイの原因になりやすいからです。
ただし、手間をかけて洗い落とせば問題はありません。

水やお茶類などでは、水洗いでキレイにし易い為、手間が少ないです。
